Are your pawrents so obsessed with you? Do they wonder what you are doing all day alone at home? Well let me introduce to you the Zmodo Pivot Cloud! My Pawrents love this thing. However, I won't be able to throw house parties anymore, since my Pawrents can watch me 24/7...
Let me go through a list of things on why the Zmodo Pivot Cloud should be in your home! However I do want to put a disclaimer; if you are a Fur-Kid that likes getting into trouble or throws pawtys like me. Maybe getting a security camera at home is not for you. Zmodo is not just a camera for us Fur-Kids, it is a very good friend that can show us if there is any strangers that might enter our house.
1) How is the quality?
-The resolution on the Zmodo is simply amazing! The Pivot Cloud can shoot up to 1080p/25fps at 30 ft. With a viewing Angle of 120*/Total 360* full panoramic viewing angle to capture me roaming around the house. It also has an amazing Night Vision mode, just in case I get hungry and creep into the kitchen at night.
2) What Types of Features does it include?
-The way you take control of your Zmodo Pivot Cloud is with the Zmodo APP that you can download on to your iphone from the APP store. Once you download the APP you can use all the features for your Zmodo. There is a Full Duplex Two Way Audio system build in, which allows you to hear whats going on in the house and your Pawrents can talk to you through the camera. It also has smart features such as; Detection, Fall Detection, Voice Command and Face Detection which is coming soon. You can set up how you want to be alerted on your phone through the APP settings.
3) Can you Record? or is it just a Streaming Camera?
-Yes to both questions. In the APP features you can record videos and take photos as well. The videos and photos will go into the Gallery and you can view them anytime you want to. Also when you first purchase a Zmodo you will get a (Free 30 Day Trial of the Cloud Recording Service). This is great so my Pawrents can constantly record moments of me at home using the Cloud services.
4) How is the Alert System?
-The Alert system is so far so good! My Pawrents get Alerts if there is any movement in the living room where our Pivot Cloud is located. They simply get a notification on their phones, in which they can live stream and see what I am up to. If you don't want to get Alerts all the time you can simply change the setting in the APP. The great thing about the Pivot Cloud is that it also comes with 4 Pack Door Window Sensors. You can simply place each of them on your doors or windows so you can be Alerted when someone tries to enter your home. This is a Pawsome feature, but if someone tries to come in i'll handle it!
I would like to thank Zmodo for this awesome collaboration; for making this review possible. I love my Pivot Cloud. Although this Camera is perfect for me, it might not be for everyone.
